Oh my gosh! My neice found this place for her daughters birthday party. Trees, grass, picnic tables, sand, changing rooms. Plenty of trashcans and grilling units all around! We made a great castle with a moat too! Perfect for young and old! We had a great family reunion/ birthday party here!! (Family from CT, SD, OH and Idaho!! ) we had a blast!

I was in Mystic on vacation and we decided to take a beach day. I was nervous of the high cost to go to the coast beaches but a local recommended this place. After reading reviews we decided to give it a try and absolutely great decision. Parking was free and there was a bathroom available. There was a shaved ice stand too. The sand is a little hard (for kids to like to dig) and there was seaweed that lined the water edge but overall great experience. Would recommend!

We'll definitely be returning once it warms up a little bit more. Perfect spot for a picnic, and for the kids and doggo to explore. 🤗 …

Nice little family park with free parking and volley ball nets. Loved the little free library and free beach toy lending area. The bathrooms are clean and there is an outdoor shower. The only downside is the water is extremely muchy and there is a ton of seaweed l. We still enjoying swimming here. It is dog friendly

Nice beach. I was informed that dogs are allowed on the beach and they can be off leash/lead. Although, it was just one person who told me this and also there were only 2 dogs there, mine included, so I can't confirm what this person said …

Have to commend them for being one of the only dog-friendly beaches on the coast of CT during the summer. Beach was clean, also. However, it was small and the sand doesn’t have quite the same quality as the beach we were hoping to go to in Niantic. We were happy to be able to bring our dog to the beach here, though.
